The Phat Van
We have exclusively developed the unique Phat Van to give franchisees a professional, branded, attention-grabbing business.
The Phat Van can be either purchased outright or provided through a lease-purchase scheme. Leasing the van saves the initial cost of purchasing the van, reduces initial capital expenditure and gives franchisees access to a fantastic ‘ready to go’ business. Leasing can be arranged over the 5 year period and is paid for monthly, allowing the franchisee to pay for the van as they go along.
The van incorporates a large oven in which the pasties are baked off fresh each day. The pasties are then displayed in this same area and are sold throughout the day as 'freshly baked'.
There is a refrigerated area on the side of the van. The sandwiches, baguettes and soups are displayed in a temperature-controlled environment throughout the delivery round. Soft drinks are also chilled and there is additional space for a range of crisps, chocolates, cakes and snack items.
The Phat Pasty Co have also launched into trial The Phat Potato Van. This has been developed using the same great proprietary oven technology and exclusive Phat Van, to actually bake off jacket potatoes and serve a range of hot and cold fillings. This now allows franchisees to build a multiple Phat Van business, giving their customers even greater variety and choice.
The Phat Van has been produced exclusively for franchisees of the Phat Pasty Co and provides a great talking point and presents an attractive and professional image to all who see it.
